Sale Spree: Topshop

Yesterday, my boyfriend and I went to Southampton to get my birthday present resized – my lovely DKNY watch. It was heartbreaking have to put it back in the box for another month, especially now I know it fits! While waiting for it to get fixed I noticed that Debenhams had a Topshop concession… I automatically zoned in on the bright pink sale stickers and headed that way. I managed to pick up £25 worth of Jewellery for £4.50 and a pair of £32 velvet black shorts for £7! Bargains!

London Surprise: Monki

I spent today visiting journalists in London to show them our amazing new beauty products and homes look books. In a quick gap we took a trip to Carnaby Street where I came across a beautiful, unique and interesting shop called Monki. It’s the only one in the UK and I fell in love! Not just because they had an unreal sale but because the shop itself was really vibrant and quirky.

Monki describes itself as “Monki is both a way of doing life and doing fashion. Monki is a store concept and a fashion brand. The stores are a part of a Monki world that constantly tells new stories. The clothes have a style that represents personality and independence, an alternative that’s full of dreams.” This definitely describes the opinion that I have come home with! It’s lovely to find a shop that isn’t easily accessible so you can be sure you won’t bump into 20 people with the same top!

I picked up a couple of amazing items. I could have spent £65 but purchased my two items for £13! Totally worth going against my spending ban! I brought a lemon sheer button up shirt with a beautifully curved collar. The cuffs bring the shirt in creating a little gathered effect at the wrists. Perfect to tie in with some black skinny jeans and a collar necklace. This was meant to be £20 but I picked it up for £5! The second item was a vintage inspired thick knit cardigan with a multi coloured effect. It features mainly a lime green knit with hints of purple and blue! The baggy sleeves add a cute effect as does the hemline buttons. This was meant to be £45 but I got it for £8! So impressed!
